Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. So today we are going to talk about what is cause and effect. Lets start it with the meaning of cause and effect

Cause-effect conjunctions or in English are called cause-effect is a conjunction that connects a cause and an effect. There are two types

connecting words are:

1. A conjunction followed by a clause Conjunctions followed by clauses/clauses are conjunctions that requires a subject and predicate in writing. Type conjunctions

2. Conjunctions followed by phrases / gerunds

Conjunctions followed by phrases are conjunctions only followed by

noun phrases or gerunds without a predicate or verb in them. Say

We can mention the cause first, then the effect.

e.g. A tsunami causes disturbances.

We can also mention the effect first, then the cause.

e.g. A tsunami is caused by the displacement of a large volume of a body of water
