Hello Everyone(≡^∇^≡), welcome back to my blog, so today we going to start learning from chapter 1 part 1 about Suggestion. I'm making an explanation video about suggestion and doing some exercise too so let's check it out

Ⓦⓗⓐⓣ ⓘⓢ ⓐ ⓢⓤⓖⓖⓔⓢⓣⓘⓞⓝ? 

Suggestion is To suggest means to introduce or to propose an idea or a plan for someone’s consideration.It can be in the form of a solution, advice, plan, and an idea. It can be accepted or refused.

Here are some common phrases used to make a suggestions

There is some expression to accepting or refusing suggestions:

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• Yes, please

• Ok, thanks

• That’s a good idea

• That sounds great

• Ok. Let’s …

• Perfect. I love it

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• No. I’d rather not

• Sorry.I don’t feel like it

• I am not sure

Read the dialogue below, and answer the questions.

Andy : It’s mother’s day next week. What are we going to give to Mum?

Bobby : How about getting her a box of chocolate?

Cindy : No, I don’t think it’s a good idea. You know she is on a strict diet, and she never eats sweets!.

Andy : Alright, shall we get her a flower vase, then?

Bobby : No. She already has some.

Andy : Well, why don’t we buy her new gardening tools? She loves gardening.

Cindy : That’s a good idea!.

Bobby : Ok, let’s go and buy her gardening tools.Adapted from

= they are discussing about what are they going to give their mother on mothers day

Auntie : no thanks, i can do it myself

4. Robby : I think we should go and pick your father up from the airport.

Kenny : good idea, let's go

5. Tom : Shall we go to the travel agent this afternoon to book our ticket?

Ryan : yeah i think it's a good idea, sooner are better

kristyan: aras, tomorrow is my sister's birthday, what do you think i should give as a gift?

Aras: How about chocolate?

Kristiyan: he doesn't like sweet food

Aras: what about flowers?

Kristiyan: he is allergic to flowers

Aras: Then just buy decorations like ribbons or bracelets

kristiyan: but my sister doesn't like to wear decorations like that

Aras: Then just buy the food or clothes you like

kristiyan: well that's a great idea, thanks aras

aras: yes it's the same
